Zhifei Joins Hands with MSD to Protect the Health of Millions of Women and Children

On November 7, 2019, Shanghai, China  - on the occasion of China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CIIE”), Zhifei and MSD (called Merck & Co. Inc., Kenilworth, New Jersey, USA in the US and Canada) celebrated their joint contributions to China’s public health. Up to now, Zhifei has worked with MSD to protect the health of millions of Chinese women, infants and adolescents through rotavirus vaccine and HPV vaccine, in support of the progress and development of China’s public health.

The partnership between Zhifei and MSD began in 2011. Over the past eight years, both parties have worked closely to establish a long-term strategic cooperative relationship, where Zhifei is responsible for the marketing of MSD’s innovative vaccines in China, for joint improvement of accessibility of vaccines as an important means of disease prevention. Thanks to the Chinese government’s moves in improving public health and accelerating the introduction of innovative products and combining with extensive popular science education on disease prevention, just in the two years since the launch of HPV and rotavirus vaccines, 5 million Chinese women, infants and adolescents have been vaccinated against diseases.
